It Was a White Christmas

With 17 inches of snow on the ground, we were practically buried in white. Brown County was under a snow emergency until Friday, at which point my family came over to pick me up. Even with snow tires, my Miata wasn’t going anywhere in snow that deep.

Christmas Eve was food food food, revolving around our tradition of oyster stew. Yum!

Christmas Day was a lot of fun, with gifts all around. Some of the highlights include a pair of awesome Leki Trekking Poles, a down comforter, and an air hockey table for Michigan.

Sunday, we packed up and went up to Michigan, which had received about 14 inches less snow. We watched Hidalgo and Hero, played ping-pong, put together the air hockey table and played it, and generally had a good time.

Justin and I left early Tuesday, he had to go to a conference, I had to go back to work. So here I am.
