What’s next, a house?

Yeah, we hope so. We’re about 80% of the way through buying one! We still have the appraisal to go, and then filling in the gaps for our down-payment, then it’s ours. I’ll go into more detail when the deal is closed, but it’s a 1 bedroom house with a bathroom and a shower (yay, running water!). It has 2 outbuildings, one is a workshop/storage building and the other is mainly a place to store firewood. It also has a chicken coop and fencing! Plus, the view is pretty good.

It also comes with 2.6 acres of land, a spring-fed well, and a little pond.

Real fast, I don’t know how long the internet connection will last…

We’ve left the sled dog job (don’t worry, we gave 6 weeks notice), and have temporarily moved into a friend’s vacant house while we look for a place to rent.

If you desperately need to mail us something, the new address is on my Facebook profile.

I suppose I should finish the post I started 3 weeks ago that will explain all this…it’s been a little hectic!

I’m giving everyone access to a whole lot of my photos, in full resolution, ready for printing. I’ll take donations, and sell you signed prints, but you’re free to take them and do almost anything you want with them.

A couple weeks ago I hiked into part of the Hoosier National Forest to take some video with my new HD camera, and take some images of the forest. I went at midday, which is the worst time for photography, so most of my wide shots didn’t turn out so well. The few others that seemed interesting enough to display will start posting tomorrow morning.
